Since the adoption of the UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights (UNGP) in 2011 a number of regulatory initiatives have emerged across the world. Companies operating in a global business context are increasingly required to have a better understanding of the expectations for human rights due diligence and its practical implications. This event, jointly organized by Geneva Centre for Business and Human Rights (GCBHR), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and WBCSD aimed to improve understanding of how to implement human rights due diligence in companies that operate in different industry contexts, especially in light of this changing landscape.
