Dhaka Principles for Migration with Dignity

Who’s behind it? – Institute for Human Rights and Business (2012)

How can it help? – In December 2012, IHRB launched the Dhaka Principles; a set of 10 human rights based principles designed to help enhance respect for the rights of migrant workers from the moment of recruitment, during overseas employment and through to further employment or safe return to home countries. They are intended for use by all industry sectors and in any country where workers migrate either inwards or outwards. A variety of translations are also available including into Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Spanish and Arabic.
