Forced Labor Action Compared: Findings from Three Sectors

Who’s behind it? – KnowTheChain (2017)

How can it help? – In 2016 a coalition of NGOs launched the KnowTheChain initiative and benchmarked 60 global companies from the ICT, food & beverage, and apparel & footwear sectors on the transparency of their efforts to eradicate forced labor from their global supply chains. This report highlights some of the key takeaways from this analysis and points to cross-sector findings that can benefit companies regardless of their industry. The report concludes with recommendations and good practice examples for companies, business and multi-stakeholder associations, and investors to consider as a path forward.
